ACADEMY PROGRAM.

Our Academy program has been curated to be instructional and challenging essentially focusing on preparing our players for the Select level that follows after their completion of the Academy program, therefore acting as an avenue to develop and advance their technical understanding of the game and their skill sets. Players looking to join the Academy program are looking for a more challenging soccer environment. The Academy program essentially serves as a technical and instructional bridge that prepares and connects the concepts learned in previous soccer programs to make our players competitive competent players when they advance to the select level. Commitment from Academy players is much higher than your regular recreational teams. Competition at this level begins to be a bit diversified to help Academy players understand the different styles of play and adapt to variations of soccer. We achieve this by tackling different objectives in a variety of settings including that of an academy setting and a classroom one while teaching our players the importance of respect, team ethic, and sportsmanship - The ASC Way!

Academy teams train x2 p/week for 1 hour for 10 weeks during winter + Futsal Academy league participation x7 games + Tournament participation + Training Uniform + Celebration Night for $289

ACADEMY PROGRAM.

Academy Program - Futsal Session 2 - 2023

Program: Gender Based Program - meaning teams are not coed.

Ages: 8-9 yo

Division: U9-U10

Birth Years: 2014-2013

Program Duration: February 1, 2023 - April 5, 2023

Location: 1111 S West Ave, Waukesha WI 53186

Game Information: Academy teams will participate in the Winter Youth Futsal League (Youth Academy League) which consists of 7 games either played on Saturdays or Sundays depending on league scheduling. Games will be played from February 4 - March 25, 2023.

Training Information: Academy Program - will train x2 a week for a period of 10 weeks consisting of 1 hour long trainings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Trainings are led by coaches.

Developmental Focus: The Academy program essentially serves as a technical and instructional bridge that prepares and connects the concepts learned in previous soccer programs to make our players competitive competent players when they advance to the select level.

Uniform/Apparel: Players will receive training jerseys as part of their registration. Game Uniform kits are NOT included in registration and is an additional cost - uniforms are updated yearly to minimize yearly uniform fees.

Awards Night: Our Awards Night is held at the end of most of our programs and is an evening full of games and family fun, to celebrate the accomplishments of our players. Our club-wide Awards Night will be held on April 5, 2023 (location TBD) to celebrate the accomplishments of our club players.

Our Awards Night marks the completion of your players accomplishment of our Academy Program. At the Awards Night, Academy players will receive any awards they receive from their participation in the Youth Academy League.

Program Fees cover the following: 10-week training fees, Indoor Futsal Academy league fees, Training Jersey, Awards Night Fees, Insurance, Coaching Fees, Indoor Field Fees, Administrative Fees, Registration Fees.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE.

The Academy Program is a gender-based program - meaning teams are not coed. Players train with their teams weekly and is coached and led by their Academy coaches with an emphasis on individual player advancement, team structure competency, academy readiness and game comprehension while teaching players the ASC Way of respect, team ethic and sportsmanship.

Tournaments: Academy teams participate in local or regional 1-2 tournaments per session.

COACHING STRUCTURE.

At ASC, players have multiple resources and the opportunity to learn the game of soccer with the help of our coaching staff. To ensure we have the best possible focus on the specific needs of our players, our staff is equipped with the proper licensing and training needed to understand the ages of the players they are teaching. All staff involved in our Academy Program have a strong understanding of how to prepare players for the academy level. Additionally, all of our programs follow a curriculum that has been carefully curated to help coaches with their execution of instruction and meet the needs of our players.

UNIFORMS & APPERAL.

Academy Training Uniform (Included) - As part of their registration Academy players are issued a training jersey that is to be worn at every training. Training uniforms will be issued on the first/second day of training.
Academy Game Uniform Set (Not-Included): Game Uniforms Sets are not included in the registration fees and is a separate fee of approximately $75 - parents are automatically sent an invoice for uniforms following the submission of their players Academy registration. Game Uniform consist of soccer socks, shorts and jersey with number.

**ASC changes uniform designs every year. Players who have a current jersey design from the previous season may use the same jersey, effectively eliminating the uniform fee. Individual uniform components may also be purchased during non-design change seasons. The full Uniform Policy can be found on the 'Resources' page of ASC website.

AWARDS NIGHT INFO.

Our Awards Night is held at the end of most of our programs and is an evening full of games and family fun, to celebrate the accomplishments of our players. Our club-wide Awards Night will be held on Friday January 27, 2023 at our club house Alcir Center from 4:30pm-7:00pm to celebrate the accomplishments of our club players.

Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm

TEAM PLACEMENT.

Two weeks prior to the first week of training parents will be notified via our app of their players team placement, training schedule and game schedule. Alcir Soccer Club strives to balance player ability and experience throughout the teams in each age division.

Please Note: We do not guarantee any special requests for team placement. No Team changes will be made after the second week trainings.

GAME INFO.

Academy (U9-U10)

Game Format: 5v5 with 4 field players and a goalie.
Game Time: Games are made up of 21-minute half's equaling to 42 mins of game time with an intermediate break between the two of 5 minutes.
Game Day Attire: Academy Uniform Set (includes jersey, shorts and socks), indoor court soccer shoes (no cleats), and shin guards, water bottle and great attitude!
Playing Time: At the Academy stage playing time begins to be determined by player performance and as best presumed by the coach.

REGISTRATION Process INFORMATION

Current Season: Futsal Session 2 - 2023

Registration for all Futsal Programs is now open starting January 1, 2023 - February 15, 2023. Registrations close at midnight on February 15, 2023.

Registration Window: January 1, 2023 - February 15, 2023

Registrations Close: February 15, 2023, at Midnight.

Registration Process: Registration takes place via our online Registration Portal, which you can access by clicking on the “Register” tab. Once registration is complete you will receive an invoice 1-2 days after you submit your Players Registration, from the date your invoice is sent you will have 3 days to pay the registration fee before we withdraw your players registration.

Payment Plan: We offer payment plans for all of our programs. If you would like a payment plan, please select the payment plan checkbox at the end of your players registration process.

Late Registration: Once registrations close parents have the option of contacting us to see if we still have availability to apply for the program, please note all programs have a limited number of spots available. Please note that if a late registration is accepted a registration late fee of $35 will be imposed in your registration. For information on program space availability please email info@alcir.org
